Exhaust question

My exhaust is blowing on my 89 cabby. i have a nearly new exhaust off an 83 tintop, my question is will it fit the cabby?? I've had a look on VAGCAT and they look the same?  Just need it confirming though

Nope, doesn't fit. Different shape near the fuel tank, different hanger at rear, and maybe a different connector at the downpipe - manifold join. They obviously look similar, but they're not the same  

looks like i'll have to stump up some cash then, thanks anyway
