exhaust manifold respray

i took the heat shield off the exhaust manifold today an its rusty as hell.

ive got some spray paint that will withstand temps up to 650 C an just wonderin if any one can suggest a primer with simular tollerances

and is this worth doing any way??? will it work???

im takin it as a guarenteed wont work then??

anything i can do to tidy it up an make it look half decent?

used high heat paint on the bike exhuast last about a year then you have to paint it again. it does work but the heat encourages rust to form.
