Can I not use a fuel accumulator?
I am planning out my mk1 with a 20v turbo conversion. I am doing a ground up build so having taken every thing off. Can I run the fuel system without the fuel accumulator or is this likely to be some sort of a problem further down the line?
The reason for not wanting to fit it is that it is a early retro style body shell that does not have the lugs on so before welding them on wanted to find out if it works ok without.
I have an 84 gti fuel pump which I was planning to use and accumulator with looks very rusty on the out side but was working fine I also have a Corrado g60 fuel accumulator in much better condition is this ok to use if going ahead and fitting one?
If any one out there has done this or is running this set up, can you give me the ok.
Thanks Mason
