Can i fit a gti system instead?

Ive just checked out the price difference between a full new system for my clipper carb motor and a gti system. The gti system is allot cheaper and better design. Can i fit a gti system instead? Would i just need to change the cast manifold to a git one?

Yes, you'd need to change to a GTI manifold too. 95% sure it would fit, so long as you get the right GTI system (cabbys changed exhaust around 86-88 I think…) so get the GTI system from the same year as your car.
