been messing...

:dontknow: been messing with the adjustment on the metering head and now the car wont start.. :dontknow:  took the plugs out and they were full of fuel..  which way do i wind it to lean it up…? the mechanic who messed it up in the first place said that he sets them up by winding it shut then opening it up by one and half turns…? :dontknow:

Got Haynes manual? I think it tells you how to check adjustment etc?

To get round this, I have a little loom and switch I connect to the 5th injector. Then you can 'wind' the metering head mixture to lean, and using various flicks of the switch, manually control (approximately) the air/fuel mixture so you can at least make the car start and run while trying to get some kind of sensible adjustment back onto it.

Rich = clockwise.

Could be rich or lean - you need a gas analyser of wideband to check.
