Baby friendly Exhaust System
My partner is due April next year and I need a quieter exhaust if I have any hope of the Mrs allowing us to take the kid out in the golf!
At the moment I have a standard system with stainless sports backbox on my mk1 1.8 GTI, the baffles have gone in the backbox and it is ridiculously loud droning on the motorway, ruins the drive.
I need advice on options, I've been told the the 2" mild steel jetex system is one, does anyone know how quiet it is? I've also been told that VAG don't make the standard exhaust any more, what are the quality of the GFS/Euro car parts exhausts?
Thanks Jon

We had a stainless Long Life system put on the mrs cabby - dealers nationwide, cost £270 fitted. Superb fit and soooo quiet. Should never need another one
looked them up, they will do a stainless backbox for around £150 which is all i need, might phone for a quote
