4 branch manifold for a late cabriolet

Its probably been done to death before? but im after getting a 4 branch manifold for my sportline cab to replace that horrible C clamp affair!

has anyone done this succesfully? on a normal DX engine, all the ones i have seen say "not for cabrio" i take it this is a clearance issue on the bulk head or steering rack parts?

any advice or pointers on one that will fit welcomed, im planning to fit a decent uprated cam and want to help it breathe and sound a bit better while im there

I would have thought so.  Good sound to it.

Came across the s/s manifold, listed for the Karmann rather than cabrio.  Pt no:  022 880 201  I'm 95% sure, you would need to check….
