Where to buy a Bosch alternator?

I've been searching for a bosch alternator for the 1.8 gti everywhere but can't seem to find one. I've tried gsf, eurocarparts and even halfords. Are there any other places that i have missed which anyone knows off?

Tried a scrapyard? Mine came off a Passat. Alternatively just get a recon from a motorfactor. You're never far from a Bosch approved Autoelectrical place either. They're usually Bosch diesel specialists too.
