What's the Difference?

Can anyone shed some light on the difference between VDO and Motometer clocks?

My Campaign has had a different clock set fitted which is VDO, however whilst going through the garage today I noticed the original clocks were motometer???

Any help appreciated!!!

I think VDO are better quality. The rev counter on Motometer has smaller gap between 0rpm and 1000 rpm but otherwise all look pretty much the same.

They are compatable - I once added a VDO speedo (my original to keep the mileage) to motormeter clock set when my MFA failed and it worked ok.

Same cluster - different manufacterer.  The cluster was designed by Motometer originally out of … hang on -  I'll look.

Out of Lubeck.  Motometer was subject to a management buy-out about 12 years ago - part of the company went to Bosch and part to Iveka

Anyways - to answer your enquiry - Motometer did the original cluster design - VDO was one of the manufacterers - but the same cluster.
