shelf support speakers

can anybody tell me what size speakers fit and how they attach
all i can see is four little black studs and cant see how the speakers stay there???

can u get back to me if you know?

6"x4" fit with nut shaped clips that thread onto the plastic studs, though U nut would do the same job.
