Rewiring 1300 Driver - 1800 GTI

Hello, I am nearly finished my MK1 rebuild.

The car is a 1983 MK1 1300 Driver and has been converted to 1800cc GTI spec.

I have a complete (labelled) GTI Loom from a 1983 Car.

My question is this -

Can I just use the engine loom, fuse box and rear loom from the GTI and keep the Driver dash loom in place - or are there differences?

I am not bothered about fitting a MFA or GTI clocks, but will I need to?

Ideally I dont want to muck about with the exising driver dash loom, but would it be just as handy to take the dash out and just rewire the whole car?

You can use the Driver loom as the fusebox is also from a '83 car, no need to swap. Being a Driver you will also have the rev counter so you can keep exisiting instruments.
