Rev counter on 2.0 16v carb car
Hi,
I've only just joined the site after a long lay off from GTI's.
I've got an ex GTI in the form of a 1983 "A" plate non Campaign fitted with an abf 2.0 16v on twin 40 dellorto's and bought it as it is.
Unfortunately, the rev counter does not work (nor the mfa, but I'm not worried about that at the moment!), and would really like to know where to start looking for the problem.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, please feel free to let me know.
Many thanks,
Oldfool.
