Main Beam warning not working

Went for a run in Cabrio this evening. Along with one of the dash lights not working (already got spare bulb from Crazy, waiting to go in during xmas break :) ) I noticed the main beam warning light doesn't come on.

Has anyone come across this before and can tell me what to look for?

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

Yeah its just a bulb for the main beam light can blow at any time just needs replacing.

Mine had a habbit of not working when i first bought her, but as the winter went on and I used the switch more the light worked constantly, I put it down to dirty contacts.

spray some switch cleaner in around the high beam stalk, and see what happens
