help i need to know what sender i need

hi i need help with finding out what oil temp sender i need to fit a audi oil sender guage on to mk1. my mk1 has  1.8 8v engine out of a scirocco i think. i have the sender oir the pressure guage of the audi. also has any body got any fitting instructions
