I'm 99.9% certain you dont - but don't quote me on that if it fails!
Similar one is they wont fail you if spare wheel is NOT in car, but will fail you if it IS in car and not legal tyre!

Nope reverse lights are not part of the test, the spare tyre doesnt even have to be legal to pass an mot hairyarse the problem here is testers going too far (ie doing things they arent allowed to) its worth knowing the rules :wink:

thats me harry then when i plug the spades in to the gearbox the lights stay on and the wires get hot dont want another fire just fitted new dash loom other than the reverse lights every other thing worksstorm81 said
