BATTERY LIGHT

Should the battery light come on when the ignition is switched on because it doesnt in my golf but it comes on in the caddy and goes off when the engine is started?

Yes. Check the blue wire that follows the starter wiring. There's a connector down by the starter and again at the alternator.

THANKS! I just checked that wire and it it is broken so i will fix it tommorow!
