Morning all,
as the title really - looking form something that can be used on the steering wheel as well (it's not leather) that won't make it impossible to keep hold of!.

Go to Lidl, buy their W5 Anti -Bacterial floor cleaning wipes! These are ace for cleaning and they remove grease and kill mould and you just wipe after with a dry cloth (can be used on cloth material but check a small area first!).
THEN treat all plastics- (but not parts of the steering wheel where your hands go! as potentiallyslippery) with Auto glm interior /exterior plastic treatment. How? spray on a cloth and do one section/ area at a time and then immediately wipe with dry cloth to prevent it being too glossy. The combination of these two products are brilliant.
Marcus.

Are you talking about the rubber bits being different color than the wheel? As in the surround and things
On my 90's Cabbies over here the Center airbag section was always a different faded look as compared to the wheel.
I usually used this shake the thing good and go easy as it squeezes out really well. make take a couple of coats and it will run if squeezed too hard. After it dries a quick buff with a soft cloth gets the bits to match.
As I live in the deep south, I use a steering wheel wrap on my cars as it deflects the Sunlight off the things and makes it easy to grip, and won't burn your hands off.
Here is a shot of it after using 2 coats of the quick shine
All my black bits got this treatment so it would shine the same color.
