Not really a floppy top fan but that's a beautiful sight, what's hiding in the background near the garage?

Does anyone know why I keep losing coolant out of the sensor in the top of my new coolant reservoir ??  :(

 - Replaced coolant tank for a shiny new one
 - Added VAG G13 coolant to tank
 - Fitted new radiator cooling card
 - Had a cup of tea

If you've still got old one take it apart and fit the sensor to new reservoir see it stops leaking.. maybe missing o ring or aged one on new part.

Cheers Kenneth, the one currently on the car is the one from the old tank (which never leaked) I bought a new one from GSF earlier just in case, so a swap out seems the next best step for now? (Just got to wait for coolant to cool as was out in it earlier).

Quick update, changed over part to the new one - no difference what so ever? :/ super confused now! I still have old reservoir, perhaps I should swap back?

Lol good eyes.. that's the donor..spares… another bigger project w plate Gli cabby. 1.6 injection 4sp box with newer interior. Needs weld and good service and servo and brake lines..but turns over and moves

I moved Ralph out of Storage and back in to my garage, in preperation for the big move to my brand new garage and the continuation of the restoration… Yay  :thumbs:

Pulled the carbs off BRO removed a main jet to get the dimension.
Ordered some smaller jets ready for rolling road tuning session.
Reassembled the carb and put back, need to tighten up as I ran out of time…

Began replacing the carpet for a decent one and looking forward to getting the new seats and door cards in

Switched back to standard springs, fixed indicators, fitted DAB radio and changed gear linkage.
