Value MK1 Golf GTI 1982 1.6? Help?

Hi trying to establish the true value of my MK1 GTI Golf GT 1982 1.6 red, all pretty much original (apart from velux roof and sunroof), not concourse standard, orange and red original seats, actually in having a bit of body work done, inside and out is tidy except some rust being done in boot, doors do need replacing but I have two spare.

Insurance company have said £10k but I'm sure it must be more as it is quite rare now, any help on what its true value would be great.

I don't think anyone could put a realistic value on it with so little info.  Looks like it's previously had aftermarket sills fitted as there are no lower sill trims fitted.  Original condition could be good, but it could also need a lot of work underneath.  Looks like a nice enough example, the roof would put me off though.

I'd snap their hand off at 10k personally.
