Red Golf Sportline

I had a really nice sportline about 11 years ago and wondered if it was owned by anyone on here.

checked DVLA and it's currently SORN, last MOT'd in 2012. registration K556 SAB

be nice to see how it looks.

My guess is it's being stored somewhere as an investment possibly or just stored till the owner can do what they want to with it.

What was the condition like when u sold it? 

I foolishly swapped it for a corrado 16v then regretted it straight away.

Condition wise, it was almost perfect. I sold it with around 70k miles and in 2011 it had 86k miles.
I bought it locally where it was kept in a heated and de-humidified garage.

I know what you mean. In 2011 I sold my Sportline and a T3 Whitestar and bought a high spec Mk5 GTI DSG. Lovely car but just didn't do it for me like the Sportline. 5 years later I've just found the one I have now and can't see me selling it. A lot are going for premium prices now it seems, but at least your old one appears alive!
