Great to hear that life is treating you as well as ever!

Can't say that I will be down that way anytime soon but you can bet I'll be knocking on your door if I do.  

As for next season I've been a little slow making my preparations due to ill health but I'm now more focused on our game and looking forward to another interesting season this winter.

Let's face it, the Brits can exit the Euros and the EU but when it comes to our little game, it's addictive but don't ask me why!

You know what they say never buy a car at night or in the rain and its wet. So what is the owner trying to hide here taking a photo in the dark and in what looks like a car wash.

It might be the wide angle lens but the trim on that front wing looks a bit dodgy more like a Banana rather than a nice straight line.

I think this is best left well alone. And as it is GAP it will be a ridiculous amount the owners has told his better half its worth.


Hope youre better soon and fighting fit for the new season.

For those of you who might not know, that car pictured above GF - MK1 is mine, built 1990.
Bought back in the winter of 2012 when it had done 51,000 and now has 63,000 miles.

For the first time in my life a gave a car I've owned a name which is Schrat from Ice Age because he's an unlucky son of a gun. On the very first day I drove him home some Ahole backed into him and up till now its happened 5 times!  
If I add all the insurance costs together the total slightly exceeds the value of the car.



As for the photo, well ten days ago my 18 year old son was involved in an accident with his Honda Civic which he totalled.Thank God he's unhurt apart from his pride.    

So he came to me on the Saturday and sheepishly asked if he could borrow the MK1!  
Feeling a bit sorry for him and a bit soft in the head I let him have it for the day.
That evening he went to the pictures with some mates to watch a late movie.
But on the way home he stopped at the all night jet wash and washed the car for me.  
Photo was taken on an iPhone with no photoshoping or effects.

As for my boy, five days later I bought a BMW 320i 4dr.
I think the surprise night time car wash swung it for him!

Why am I asking you to take note, well simply because it's the same here if not more.  
Long gone are the £500 cheap MK1's here in Austria!

Now I've said this before but if I'd of invested 20 grand three or four years ago in some cars, stored them and done nothing at all to them. I would have trebled or quadrupled my money, think about this when you're Guessing the Asking Price this year!  

Finally due to the market correction of the £  on the worlds money markets after 52% of my home land diciding to in unison jump off a very high cliff. For this season we will have a new £ to € exchange rate which will be: £1 is equal to €1.20.

But don't worry because it makes it easier for you and of course I always state the asking price in €'s as well as £'s!  

So enjoy the rest of the summer and we will kick off 'Season 4' end of October, but any questions about how the game is played or the rules just fire away !  

Oh there will be one or two small changes to the rules but they will be announced nearer the time.
