Well I don't know why but I'm feeling generous this evening, which as we all know is completely out of character!   :o

But for golfman16 and dubm3 we will give them their weekly point for playing as it's the start of the season.

So Si 36thcrazyfist please add their points to the table next week and I'll see you all in the morning!

You're all in for a shock I can tell you.

Sent by a smartphone and not a smartperson!

Play Guess the Asking Price 'SEASON 4' as of Sunday the 29th of October 2017.

Morning all, so straight on to the result of the 2nd match of the new season.
I kinda have a wee niggling feeling that the price on this car is going to shock a few people but here goes!  :o
If you remember this car is a 1977, 2 owners, with 49,000 miles.

Car No. 2
The 'Asking Price' was £860 or €1,200

1.jpg

So onto the results.

1st Place                            Kenneth Cartwright                    £1,000   :ocf_emoticons__notworthy:
2nd Place                             ppc229w                                     £1,150     :ocf_emoticons__eusa_dance:
3rd Place                                 RichardHall                                 £1,385        :ocf_emoticons__alright:

So there you have it.
Now if we were to take an average of the prices put forward we have the following results:
Average guess: £2437, which was a whopping £1,577 away from the asking price of £860!

Should be interesting to see how the table stands now as we have a new kid on the block.
So chat amongst yourselves for a while and I'll be back later with the league table and some other interesting Info.

Well I have to be honest as far as I can tell this car is still for sale.
The advert only came out about two months ago and it's high up in the mountains which tends to put people like me off.

Well that and the thought of our field spaniel dining on my tecticals on the night should I bring it home!  O_o

Poor pic from my Wife's mobile but what he's centing hence the focus is the Stags when we were in the mountains early September and they were still very vocal and active!  :)

All down to the quality of the pictures I think, the bits when you enlarged the photo which looked quite blurred, were  probably tons of filler. And  the interior which looked like brown dust was probably rust seeping through.

Wonder what we will have instore next then….

Richard, I can't say for certain on this one but we do not have any of the rust issues you all suffer back home.
It's extremely unusual to find a golf suffering from rusty front end, inner wings, door sills etc…
So you won't make a fortune selling panels or fillers here!

There is absolutely no salt in the air here and they use the absolute minimum of it in winter.
About 10% of the gravel mix I think.

I just think this happens to be one of those that someone has inherited, they look at it dirty and they don't like it .

So they want the space and the cash in the pocket, maybe young like a grandson or something!  ;)
