They look good, tell us your secret.
Did you know your black number plates are illegal as you can only fit black plates to cars older than 1st Jan 1975.
1988 Mk1 Golf GTi Cabriolet 1.8cc DX, K-jet. Daily drive. 317,000 miles and counting

Here's  a post I did a few years back.
There's a handful different ways of doing them but the one I went for is near the bottom of the first page with pictures!   :thumbs:
