Hi all…

To those of you on the forum that don't know me I have run the website www.golfgtisportline.com since its introduction in 2010 and now I have started a new website under the name www.vwgolf1.com

It was time for a change… so I sold both my 'show cars' last September/October 2017 and invested in a new modified mk1 campaign and I have built this website over the winter months. I know modified you say… I was always into standard mk1's with slight tweaks and now have moved to the dark side! Many will know the car as I purchased from club members Elvis & Anna.

So the website is dedicated to the Mk1 Golf - all versions. I plan on updating my 'blog' regularly with pictures and updates of my own projects, (the campaign and an early 79 GTI I have a share in), different car shows that I attend and any other relevant information I can find and share.

The site has a shop and I now sell new and second hand Mk1 golf parts, VW merchandise and other bits and pieces like wind deflectors and sound deadening materials. I am working on being agent for VW Classic in Germany shipping parts all over the world. This is only a hobby as I still have a day job so hope to combine the two… if time allows.

I have put a small discount code into the members area so feel free to use it and watch out for my special offers in the coming summer months.

Wish me well as it's a new adventure and hopefully I make it to my tenth AGM this July.

Thanks chrisL & borednow for the website feedback - I am posting bits all the time and have invested in some stock for the shop etc.

I will start a thread on the car on the forum, but here are two pics from Dubshed 2018 where it scooped car of the show in early April.
