I think this sexism is a real shame and has no place in the forum. The writer assumes basic checks have not been made just because it’s a woman. It could be more complex like an ecu issue or loss of compression.

FIrst Typical first time poster.
No Year make or Model information given.
No mention of the state of the gauges such as fuel level……not enough information to proceed with diagnosis.

Second Get a Divorce, and marry a man with skills other than the bedroom, that's right go find a trophy Husband as this cad didn't have the clue to keep the fuel filled so discovery wouldn't happen so he wasn't the sharpest tack in the box to begin with.

There was a Movie with Charlie Sheen called good advice…. very similar.
