Wheel offset question

I saw a set of 15" BBS RA 6J  alloys for sale on ebay(and missed them!!) They were off a MK2 GTI but it said they were not suitable for my 1989 cabrio. They have a 35mm offset. Are they not suitable??

I have no experience with cabrios, but they would fit a tintop perfectly, and at only 6 inch wide with that et I don't see why they wouldn't fit yours.

Does anybody know where I could get the Sportline wheels ??? I am googling like mad for days now and can't find any. Help please.

I thought sportlines just ran RA's in black?

Yes The sportline had the twist of the silver lip and black barrels.
But where to find them??

Personally, I'd look for a normal set in need of a refurb and spray em. 

I will get the normal set but in the off chance I'd like the black ones!!
