What is a fair price for a, 1.8 DX engine?

Hi all,

Just about to remove my complete running engine from my 83' golf to swop to an r32.

Whats a fair price to put this up for sale for? Had a quick look around but not many for sale?

Don't want to rip anyone off but don't want to give it away either as all recoverable funds will be put back in to the project. It's covered around 120k as the clocks state, Will be video'd before removal, no known issues.

Mods this isn't a for sale add, just some market research. TIA
 

And gearbox? Full engine and ancilliaries? 

Shafts?

Selling as a package would bring you more monies… not loads tho. 

Sorry, yes i could sell everything as a complete package if someone wanted it.

Thats how I'd try and move it on first, as a complete conversion package.

If it doesn't go , then sell it off seperately, depends how quickly you want it gone with price.

If it was mine, I'd list the whole conversion on here and Ebay for 250 quid. Engine complete, shafts, box, shifter.

I got £50 for g/box plus driveshafts, advertised engine for free, had one interested party. Think these are pretty low value items,  but if its what someone needs at that time.
