Timing a 1.8gti

So I was doing the timing belt I marked up the crank pulley and the cam pulley but forgot the do the other one and knocked it, so is there a guide to timing up the engine? Thanks

There is a dimple on the cog for the intermediate shaft, you can also pop off the dissy cap and check the rotor arm is pointing to a line on the edge of the dissy.

Pictures, the timing marks can differ depending in year. I had removed my cogs and painted them and painted some white paint on the marks to make it easier to see when changing the cam belt

Cam dimple at the top of the valve cover tin, and not the rebar, you have it.

Crank at 0tdc on the timing finger on the transmission bellhousing under green nut and plug.

Dizzy rotor in the middle of the hash mark stamped on the dizzy side frame….

Aligning the pulleys is ok, if you know where the Dizzy was prior, otherwise you are guessing.
