How Many Left ?

 I was having a cup of tea with the chaps at work when one of the guys showed me an app called How many left ( UK ONLY I'M AFRAID)  so when I got home I thought I'd try and find out.

Firstly there turns out there are a few different places to check I used  http://www.howrareismycar.co.uk and http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk and this what I found;

 Mine is a 1992 Golf Cabrio GTI






 So do you know how many of your car are left on the roads in your country ?
 I was surprised to find out there are only 18, 1992 cabby GTI's on the UK roads and nearly double the amount across all years that are languishing in storage or in restoration than are taxed, tested and ready for duty. 

Interesting.

What with over a million sold how many are still alive and well  these numbers are enlightening.

I can also see why parts are getting harder to find.

 So my 1980 golf is one 12 on the road with 43 sorn. I think my insurance valuation has just gone up

The years don't go far enough down to check mine. 

Shame they don't go further back but Backinblack hey 1 of 12 that's getting pretty rare ! mine is one of the 10 1992 cabby gti sorned at the moment
