How effective are strut braces on Cabriolet

Stating the obvious then of course there will naturally be more flex in the chassis from a cabby but do these strut braces help negate this? With these kind of mods will it bring the cabby more inline with how a tin top chassis handles?! Appreciate the cabby has more weight to start with.
I'm just intrigued..

Back again on this topic. I've just won a Einach upper strut brace on eBay which will hopefully reduce some scuttle shake. The cars also got an original K-bar fitted to the lower front.
First question: Are there any upgrades over the K-Bar?

Looks like a 4point brace for the boot of a cabby. I can't tell if this is worth while or not? Any thoughts?

rear brace im not sure if it'll add much, since the cab already has a massive lump of steel between the turrets
