Now found the problem an old car alarm intermittently not powering main fuel pump, removed alarm rejoined wire now all back to standard and working ok, took a long time to find as when I checked pump supply I was getting 10.5v should have removed old alarm first as last owner said they had problems with it.
Don't you just hate POS, (Previous Owners Screw-ups).
After market alarms are the second biggest issue I have seen that and Aftermarket Stereos instillations.
If you don't want it stolen, then install power cut off to the fuel pump relay, or remove it carry it about in your pocket…. I had a friend that re-routed the FPR into his glove box.
What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
