Description:

After 8 years of ownership, it’s time to sell my custom Mk1 Golf. The car has been garaged during my ownership and previous ownership, its serviced regularly and well looked after. It’s registered as a historic vehicle with the DVLA.

The car was rebuilt in 2013 by Havair, have photos showing the rebuild. During this rebuild and since my ownership the following has been done.

Engine change: 1.9 (AAZ) TD engine swap, Mk1 Golf petrol engine mounts, stock KKK turbo with waste-gate wound out for around 15-17PSi, diesel pump adjustment screw wound in, Mk1 top fill radiator, custom Longlife 2.5in exhaust system, Mk1 GTI five-speed gearbox.

Chassis: AIR LIFT V2 Digital Air Management System, bespoke front-struts with Firestone bags and CNC plates, five gallon air tank, Chapman adjustable rear air legs, 8mm nylon lines, Viair 12v compressor, 40mm raised suspension turrets up front, 256mm Mk2 GTI front disc upgrade, Audi A8 Winter Alloys.

Styling: Bare metal respray in VW Pacifica Green, cleaned engine bay with heater delete, chrome grille trim, chrome side trim, small series 1 metal bumpers, Webasto full length sunroof conversion, series one small back light back panel, aerial removed and smoothed, rear wiper delete and de-badged tailgate, cleaned and smoothed engine bay.

Interior: Mk1 GTi seats fully retrimmed with head rest delete, carbon motive flocked Mk1 dashboard, stealth cabin mounted air ride switches, false floor boot install to conceal valves in spare wheel well, retro looking headcount with handsfree and bluetooth with 6.5” speakers in front door, 6x9 in the boot along with a 12” sub all controlled by amp.
