this is a very very very reluctant sale!

128,000  

service history since 1991 showing less than 1000 mile between most of the mots and less than 2000 between them all.  we have used her daily since we brought her and clocked up 9,000 since then. i wish i could park her up and use her weekends and shows but i cant i really want her to go to someone who can care for her and keep her as mint as she already is.


i'll start with the bad points

rust on tailgate (spare inc in sale just needs final coat of paint and fitting)
little bit of rust at bottom or rear panel (not rot)
little bit of rust inside boot on spare wheel well
has a missfire from warm and splutters in hard cornering (accumulator)
slight  2mm ware patch on driver bolster just showing white
horn didn't work and was wired to a switch on dash so i reconnected wire at bottom off steering colomn and it works but intermittently cuts out.  (wireing needs checking)
front speakers are completly blown
burns a little bit of oil ( have a spare head stripped awaiting new valve guide supplied with sale)

well thats it for bad points i have been 100% honest

has about 10 months mot and a few months tax.

she has had a new exhaust system and second hand down pipe fitted
i replace the drivers seat bolster foam so nice and firm.  

100% original apart from 16v master cylinder and servo some bushes have been replace with poly ones and the front disks are drilled and has mintex extreme pads.

price ?4000 but we will want to replace her with a newer vw car pref diesel golf or passat (1997 on) but with cash our way.

may px for a nice small engine mk1 or a mk3 vr6 but will have to be equally clean and mint.

just to add it has been very well wax oiled inside and out,  basicly any surface not visable from outside if covered in wax oil.  there is also additional sound deadening in the engine bay and it has a k&n filter in the airbox.
