mk1 golf/ tt conversion project.

don't really want to do this but things are tight at the moment and missus is leaving me unless i do.
mk1 golf gti in alpine white, very good condition, used to run a g60 lump and so all brakes and suspension has been uprated, loads of spec / history  will list when i get time. audi tt bam engine fitted,  new g60 steels & tyres , never been used on the road q-peng wiring loom and down pipe, emerald md3, forge splitter dv, K04 turbo.  the car is about 90% complete. to finish it needs starter motor, turbo water pipes fitting, wiring loom connecting up and rolling road set up.  a lsd would be a good idea but at about ?600 that's your choice. i have a map for it which i was told is set at 210bhp, but can be changed to 280 bhp if you'd ever need it.  i know if i finished it i would get a lot more for it, but time & money is against me, i might consider a px with a standard mk1 gti but i will not break it , i want to see it finished.  call me on 07956432102 for more details. ?3895 ovno.

well it looks like jo is leaving me anyway, so i need to get the mk1  up and running asap as we have a cash buyer for the house and i need all my spares gone petty quick. can anybody recomend a company who does 20vt  conversions on mk1's ? anybody had any dealings with jbs at chesterfield ? cheers jim

i  need the turbo water pipes feed & return connecting up, the ecu connecting to the qpeng harness and the tunning, and then double checking that everything is connected up right.

about a days work then

how much  would you want to get it running  for me if i could get it trailored to you ?

how longs a piece of string you never know what will crop up while finishing it off

do you have a map in the ecu thats good to go?

if its just a case of wiring up and fitting a few pipes then your not looking at much maybe about 2 days work tops

my problem at the moment is a lack of time if your thinking 3 or 4 weeks down the line then i maybe able to help failing that paul_c is closer to you than me i think

i'm at chesterfield derbyshire,i have emerald ecu , whith a program i am told is good to go, it  wouldn't be until a few weeks anyway as things are up in the air at the moment , could do with somebody who knows what they are doing with wiring and lap tops/ tuning.

i do have a 200bhp emerald map from dub76 which his car runs so that would work

you said you have a qpeng loom?? whys that

i bought the car as an unfinished project and that was with the car when i got it,

so is any off the wiring in the car ? or does it just need the ecu and loom plumbing in?

as for the turbo pipes im guessing you have them

wiring looks like it's  all there, and then the loom has conections for the various sensors which the plug into the ecu and coil driver ?

if you can get the car to me bearing in mind im in west sussex i can spend a few evenings and a weekend finishing it off id be looking at having the car for say 3 weeks tops pm me if your interested i know your going through a troublesome time so at your leisure
