I could be interested, but a few questions first.

Has it been restored at all?
You say no rust - my expectation is that I will find absolutely no rust at all on the car anywhere……………would I be dissapointed if I came to view with my current expectation??
How is the seat bolster?
Any service history?
Is it the original engine?
Does the Cat1 come with the certificate?
Is the V5 with the car?
Is the car still in that garage so it could be viewed in the dry and in the evening?

I went to see one today - 300 mile round trip, and the bodywork was a long way from the 'near mint' it was described as!! Bubbling rust around the filler cap, cips in the paint, dents, and doors hanging off - maybe my expectations are too high???
Obviously I'd be thoroughly checking all the common areas, so if there are any issues, I'd appreciate knowing before I travel.

I've seen Robs motor, and the wad of history he's got with it, hoping to catch up with him later to get some better pics and spread it all out on an advert..

for what robs asking mate, I'd snap his hand off, wish i'd seen it before i got mine…

For the money its well worth it, 2 big files full of receipts, lots of TLC over years, got a few little snags, but what MK1 hasnt..
its avery fair price for a good MK1 with little effort could be a great MK1…
