HOW TO get your TIN TOP and Cabriolet doors to shut properly

I can't take the credit for all this but it DOES WORK and have a clever dodge to repair your existing door pins . My doors close like a Rolls Royce just as they left the factory ..

 



The dodge is if your missing the plastic part and the doors don't shut properly simply go out and buy some 12 or 14 mm Heat Shrink from your local Electrical factors , its very cheap . Cut a piece slightly larger than the missing plastic part on the door , stretch it and plop it over the door pin , now use hot air paint stripper of hair dryer [being carefull not to damage the paint] and shrink it down . Get a tiny blob of vaseline or similar and smear the heat sink with it .

Now stand back and the door will shut beautifully
