Sparks from plugs to engine

is this even normal?
i dont usually see this but it was getting dark and i could hear weird noises from my car near my alternator, actually come to think of it i havent looked at that yet still.

Anyway from the plug part nearest engine, and around the metal casing i can actually see sparks from them on 1 and 4 cylinder areas (end two, if thats not the correct order).  Coming from the plugs to the engine.

I hope this is normal, i never know with my car if its going to be a normal thing or turn in to a major car-threatening problem.

its time to change your plugs

its the rubber insulation braking down that allows the spark to escape

Only drive in daylight hours then you cant see them .

Seriously though you need new plug leads and possibly plugs? They should be insulated and not give any external sparks etc …..Time for a trip to GSF ?

Only time you may see this on good components is when they are wet .

just had them done, leads are coming up to a year i guess soonish. i didnt think they went that fast. thats weird.
