Painting G60 Bosch Alternator

I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to put this but I want to paint my G60 Alternator. The only way to do this properly is to split it I guess.

Has anyone done this? I have removed the pulley and fan, do I just need to undo the 4 long screws?

Do a search, I'm sure someone did a how-to style post on this a while back. May have been on the MK2 OC??? I'll have a look! LOL
