Advice on Flushing coolant.

Hi all.

After repairing the outlet flange on the side of the engine block i thought now there is not much coolant in there anyway i would flush and replace the coolant.

I have bought some G12 plus coolant which i think it pretty good. :dontknow: .

I need some advice on how to flush the system. I know to remove the top pipe from the radiator and attach a hose pipe to it. Do i then take of the bottom pipe attached to the water pump and flush through until clear.??.

I might sound a bit stupid but it is the first time i have done this. :dontknow:

hi mate,
you have to take the bottom elbow piece off the water pump and remove the thermostat (prob worth checking this whilst its out) and then you can flush the system…
