MK1 from Serbia
I bought this for 100e
Bodywork 200e - finished
Painting in metalic black 200e - in progress
Permission:
UNIS VW TAS GOLF JL
GOLF JL

37kW (50hp)
1093ccm
760 w.
Because of low salaries in Serbia this project will go very slow. I have in mind few things like chrome bumpers, crystal taillights, clearglass lights, white signals, glass darkening, aluminium rims, sport springs and shock absorbers, badgeless grill… That would be it for start and that will cost me about 800e all… If anyone have any good idea for this project I would like to hear it… Just to mention that I wanna do this car in German style…
PS: UNIS VW TAS GOLF JL… TAS means Tvornica Automobila Sarajevo (Car Factory from Sarajevo in Bosnia)

All the nice finishing bit certainly add up, bumpers on their own aren't exactly cheap. With a red car the standard black bumpers suit it, would save quite a bit of money.

Actually I don't want to save money on this project, I will give about 2500e on this car but at the time. I will go in a few days to my mate that is doing bodywork on it to see the progress and I'll make some pics.
First investment will be repainting car and it will cost 200e without 'hands', 100e for registration and 100e for alu rims… Until then I don't want to search anything else
Pics soon… I'm opened for proposition

Just promise not the dreadful rat look or those silly looking 13" wheels!
The photoshop'ed one is pretty standard mods wise, BBS's and plenty of chrome. Can't really go wrong with that look as it always turns out nice.

I seen few Golfs from Toronto in this kind of style with VW badge and without it and both looks very good, but car looks more wide without VW badge and I like it 8)
