anyone want to buy a cabby
i have had this stupid grin on my face for the last 2 hrs and it wont go
this is prob the best drivers car i have ever driven so smooth responsive
I have never driven a tin top GTI before and im beginning to wonder why you cannot start to compare the tin top with the cabby, its like driving a different car altogether except all the controls are in the same place.
I do love my cabby and it has its time and place on a nice sunny day but if one had to go sorry but bye bye my soft topped friend.
when the old debate starts up again tintop? floppy? all i can say my shell has suddenly just got a whole lot harder
some pics to follow in a min when i load them up light not good but had to snap a few.

Dan you have to have a drive im not joking with the above post it really is like driving a different carDano said
Turn coat!!
my cabby has a TSR Donnington lump in the front and produces 135 bhp which i have a print out to prove, but this tin top with 112bhp and 26 yrs of driving under its belt would without doubt wee all over the cabby and lets not start about what will happen when we reach the wiggly bits of road
and we have to go round bends.
I will call round this week sometime and you can judge for yourself.

2. The cig lighter, the pic of the cig on it wasn't straight  so i tuned it 1/4 of a turn.

I knew I'd seen that reg before - in my rear view mirror .
It was at the meet at Salmesbury in September 2007 when we got turffed of casuse some clown drove on the stately home lawns for a photo shoot!!!
How annoying are those oil buzzers??? …. and a saggy seat!!
Once those small things are rectified it will be a joy to drive as a daily!!!
