My MK2 - yes a MK2 -
I've always fanciedhaving one of all mk's of golfs, but i found the 3 'to new' for me so stayingto 1's and 2's lol
Anyway This is Jenjy
He's a GTD thats covered 170+k now and still going strong..
he's got a few issues, like heater - no control over which vent its coming out of, but it gets, hot, very hot…
Rev counter is tempremental
Exhaust blowing a little (sounds raspy tho)
Plus sides,
He's better than my mk3 i swapped him for
now i've got it working, has a great stereo
Drives really nice, handles well
This was the pictures of jenjy from the previous owner…
He then did this to him!!

So out came the rattle cans, i stripped down as much as i could and got busy, quite pleased with the results, first time I'v ever rattled a whole car in the open on a driveway before..
So here he is now!!!!
all i need now is to fit my GL chin spoiler, fit the coilovers when they arrive and get up to GTI Spring fest…..
The checkered roof was kit i bought through ebay last year for my mk1, but never got round to it, it fitted so on it went, that was a pain to sort, got a few air bubbles, but oh well!!!

Love the colour coded handles may do it to mine.
getting the paint to stick was a nightmare.. had to really sand back the chrome to get it to adhere to it, should have really gone out and bought some etch primer, but its just my daily…

That's a much better spray job than the supposedly professional one on my 924 (will get some pics up at some point)…

(dont do it it was horrible to drive)
from looking at the wheels sizes I'd say I'm lower, small bumpers on mine stop it looking as low, but look at the took on the rear arches, they about the same level, but I'm running 195/45 tyres and no bodykit..
Its not a bad drive either
