if you were driving a rat like that you would expect to get tugged.
so surely noone would be as stupid to drive it without the correct docs.
when mines done i think i'll be going out with all mydocs, just incase i do get tugged i can clear it up quickly.

Half way through you were making sense, then you mentioned documents! Its not about docs at all, its about roadworthiness!!!! This means even with insurance, mot, tax, licence, proper registration etc, if the car is (or appears to be) unroadworthy, they can seize it!!!!!!!!! Nothing to do with the docs!!!!!

Cheers, read up to page 10 (out of 66 and counting) and lost the will to live. Summary so far:
Tyre rubs on bodywork, was warned 3 months ago, didn't fix it, got impounded
