I had someone do this years back (before the internet),he worked for a recovery company and traced my phone number from the address where the car was registered to and asked if i wanted to sell…. 8O ..Lucky he was a decent guy but who knows what could have happened if he was not.

Its not just about the car, its the same reason I dont post my full date of birth on Facebook, shred old bank statements and that kind of thing.
