wow I am loving this restore, the paint work looks outstanding, specially being black, one of the hardest colours to get right. Nice job.

Going to take more than a year to put that back together!!! Everytime you put one bit back on it you'll have to stand back just to admire that paintwork again. Nice job!!!

REPLY TO CHRIS THE FIRST OWNER WAS FROM COLCHESTER SO I WOULD IMAGINE CAME FROM THE SAME GARAGE AS THE ONE YOU USED TO OWN WILL CHECK FURTHER WHEN TIME PERMITS CHEERS DAVID.

HI RAMBLIN I USED KURUST THEN HAMMERITE BROWN ANTI RUST AND HAMMERITE GREY ZINC ENRICHED ALONG WITH 6 COATS OF HAMMERITE BLACK AND HAVE NOW SPRAYED WITH WAXOYL TO COMPLETE THE UNDERSIDE. THIS WAS ALL HAND PAINTED ALL APART FROM THE WAXOYL WHICH WAS SPRAYED TO COMPLETE THE FINISH (WAXOYL FINISH NOT YET SHOWN IN THE PICTURES). CHEERS DAVID :wink:

where did you get your paints from especially anti rust & zince ones.

did you use any of these in the engine bay?
