Cheltenham VAG meet

Had the first one this month. A good turn out considering it's winter and most people's cars aren't finished yet.

My mates mk1 is now ready and will be there this month and mine will be next month!

The more the merryer as always with a meet.

First Wednesday of every month.

Was in halfords carpark but I'll keep you posted on the next one.

I hope to see some mk1s turning up!

Definately mate, it started on edition 38 forums and We've decided to post it around to gather a few more locals.

That's probably where he saw it then, that'd make sense. Pretty sure he's going next time around too.

Were there all types of VAG cars of all ages last time?

Is this a word-of-mouth meet, or is there something more "official" in place?

It's something that started as a post on edition38 titled

'Anyone up for a cheltenham meet'

I was well up for it and so were plenty of others.

It's happening 1st wednesday of every month so I guess it is 'official'

As for people welcome….all dubs, all ages, all marques…

Last time there were mk1 and mk2 golf gtis, polo's, oldskool passats and an old beetle didnt make it but will next time.

2 mk1s from my area will be there this time and a few mk2s. as for everyone else…I don't know what's coming.

I just think it's only down the road so may as well check it out. It looks like it could get bigger too. More people are up for it that didnt hear about it last time too.

See if she'll have it at the meet? No reason to exclude her just because she'll be in labour    :wink:

Sounds like there could be a few more in attendance than last time…although it was seriously cold last time!

TOOOOO Cold mate, near a pub this time so hopefully that'll sort it

Well about 6 hours after the last meet there was about 3 inches on snow on the ground, so that shows how cold it was!!

I think a pub will be a good edition and get people socialising a little more.
