Settling In
my mk1 cab
stripped most of the black 1 and putin back in the blue 1 wiring looms i hate em lol
heres a few pics
what u reckon then o what fun still should be worth it when done :-\ :-\
well got the rest of the loom in all lights indicators ect work except the main beam on the head lights ive been over every think and can not see y o well im sure ill work it out
tommorow if weather is ok i will change steering rack gators before engine goes in i have started to clean engine too so should be nice and clean when it goes in
hopefully saturday i can get the old black 1 down the garage and whip the fuel tank/lines/pump off
o and the other bummer is that there is no hole in the the bracket on the brake pedal to put the brake light switch in so i need to change the whole pedal box
well had a good afternoon today steve and i spent the day playin with the cab O0 got engine in and running what joy
we had a grin ear to ear when she fired up ;D ;D ;D
this is what it looked like this morning
engine up and in place
just a couple of randoms but look how low she is now she got some weight in it O0
thats it should have exhauast on tommorow and rad ect tidy wiring in the bay

mot today passed with 1 advisory result me thinks got a couple of teething probs tho gear linkage needs sorting and some time when u brake it cuts out but im sure we will sort it
not a bad drive considering she 27 yrs old and bloody low ;D ;D

so it beena few busy weeks with the help of steve who is a member on here i believe
