my mk1 project NOW SOLD but spares for sale

Thought it's about time I posted some pic's or my project, never done anything like this before so was a bit scared to attack with the grinder but after doing a 10 week bodywork course @ college with Jim (mk1jim) it gave me a bit more confidence.

Rear pannel from Rich (crazyquiff) fitted like a glove :y:










Have now got to do the n/s arch then it's time to prepare it for painting.

The roof was made by Webasto for Fiat and actually makes the shell stronger .
Straight up   The girder inside actually makes it more rigid . You have done well so far will it be Red when finished ?

Not doing this terms course as I want to use my Sat mornings to get a few jobs done & get the mk1 on road ready for the next term.

My advice to you is do lots of reserch, ask lots of questions, have a practice on some scrap body panel, most importantly take your time & do it yourself as the grin factor when you have done is well worth all the sweat.
