Thanks for the advice. The options seem quite wide!
I've got a Philips radio/casette lurking around somewhere which I removed from a '79 VW Derby I used to own- Will do nicely……If it still works!
Have any of you chaps used a tape casette converter- where you can play an MP3 digital walkman through an old style tape player??- seems to be the best of both worlds. I've tried one out on the camper stereo and the sound is pretty good ….Much cheaper than a CD player !!
Cheers. M.

Mines the one at the bottom of the page.
I use a tape adapter in it and the sound is surprisingly good. I got mine from here…
http://cpc.farnell.com…Ntt=cassette+adapter&Ntx= Think it was the cheapest one. You can get them from loads of places though like comet, currys, argos, etc

I once fitted one of the 1977 Pioneer's to a '72 Bay Window camper -v. good piece of kit. Also had a Pioneer in a '87 mk2 Polo.
Cheers

Saying that, I used to use one (hence the reason i know that last bit of information) and they do work well.
