wipers wont turn off!
is it run from a relay in the fuse box area? if so which one is it so i can check it.
any ideas what it could be?

Looks like it could be the self park switch in the motor . You no when you operate the intermittant wipe the wipers do one clean sweep then turn them selves off and go to the bottom of the screen ? Well if this fails they will stay on . The motor is supplied with a permanant live for this facility + it allows the wipers to self park at the base of the windsceen .
You may need to strip and clean the motor and the gear assembly . If its faulty a MK2 will provide a good replacement [search the forum for how] Furbers at Heapham has 2 in stock

thats one bit fixed but leads to the bigger question of where is the leak?? turns out the front window rubber wasnt sat right! job done, thanks all
